Why have you done this!

Simply follow the installation? Nope there are a ton of new values just so I can waste more time. There is nothing in the documentation about the app location? What the heck is the app location? Also I am stuck can't login won't load CSS files and I hear there are a sh!t Ton of errors issues and problems. What the he!! Man. Now I can't work on this app and I'm once again pisses. Your supposed to test before an update. We are paying for this ...

First of all I do not know where or what the app URL is. So without it I login and loads the HTML and CSS but it gets a pho error (because te app URL is empty) the DB and API keys are locked and loaded but I can't figure out the app URL.

Ok, that sounds like you have entered your DB details incorrectly. Is this a new installation or an upgrade? What host are you using? Have you wiped it out - if a new installation - and started slowly and surely from scratch?

nevermind. They need to fix something. - Database is perfect - Urls and directories are exact - All files are located in the correct place i can prove this because the last version works perfectly.

@Auggnet: I appreciate your frustration. But, it may be that installing and running web based software is not a good solution for you? I say this because you've referenced a few different concepts that you "don't understand." It's perfectly OK to not understand things. But, it also means that running open source, web based solutions may cause you frustrations unnecessarily. There were lots of adjustments to the v2.1.8 download in the first few weeks after it's release. This is common in any software release. Testing: You may not understand just how much testing we do on all sorts of different things around here. Of course we tested 2.1.8 before releasing it. In fact, it's installed and running smoothly on thousands of back ends today with no problems at all. It's unfortunate that yours is not one of these. Paying for this: Yes, I guess becoming a member means you "paid" for something. But, we consider membership much more that that. If you don't, OK. At this point, you have a few options. 1) Find somebody else to administer your back end? Presumably somebody that understands the complexities of running a package like 2.1.8. 2) Give up. There isn't any reason to use something that frustrates you? 3) Continue to learn how the package is setup so you can take advantage of it's features and flexibility? Lastly: I realize you're frustrated and I realize this response may not be what you expected. And, I realize that your posts haven't got much attention lately. But, it's beginning to feel like our solutions and our membership offering isn't a good fit for you? David

I have been using webservers and working with php for 4 and a half years. I'm frustrated because when things don't work when they are supposed to work, well it's frustrating. I understand how much testing is needed to develop a web app, however I think more testing would help. This is so its more stable to prevent potential dangerous.
