Adding a button to play audio

Im creating an app and it mostly just loads PDFs as lessons (Educational App), but i would like to add a button within the lesson (PDF) that will play audio. I dont want it to play it in the background as i know its possible. I would like it just as an option for the user if he chooses to play it. Anyone know how to do this?

Maybe i can code but the problem is if you are on bt hosted..than if we modify the plugin(but i can deal with it),than we need to approve it and i haven seen pdf plugin..how does it work..does it work as a screen..?i just saw it its basicaly a screen which has 2 buttons to open pdf in a new app so even if we add play button it wont play as app would change..though i may try to create to create a custom pdf reader if you want?..PM ME

You could use an HTML Doc, and embed the audio into an HTML Image linked to a sound effect. Jake

I dont know how to use a HTML pluggin and i dont even know what it is. I know its powerful but doesn't it need some type of code to work? Is there a tutorial i can watch to learn about using them?

http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_sounds.asp This is a good page for learning about embedding audio in an HTML page. You would create an HTML page, using the HTML to provide the 'visual' and 'aural' experience, by using HTML to display the image, and provide the script to display a button and play/control audio. You would add that HTML page in your project, and then use the HTML plugin to 'point' to that page when appropriate. Go take a look at the 'top 25' and at the top of the list is 'GoNorthWest'. He has a slew of videos that teach all facets of Buzztouch at all levels. His is a good YouTube Channel for those who like Video, and his written Tutorials are the majority of the Buzztouch 'How To' library. Hope this helps. Let us know any questions! Cheers! -- Smug
