making changes in application how to get it back into Xcode?

Hello, I am new and just getting started with buzztouch. I believe I have the basics down but was wondering, how do I make changes in my application and have changes update in the Xcode iOS Simulator? I believe it to be like this: 1. make changes in buzztouch change panel (i.e. add new screens) 2. publish changes 3. create a new .zip package 4. download the .zip package 5. re-import it back into Xcode 6. re-compile the app 7. run it in the Simulator For instance I have an app named polson914num1, and a corresponding Xcode project named the same. So in step 5 above, do I drag the BT_Plugins folder back into the Xcode project, or do I make an entirely new Xcode project with the new downloaded zip file? Thanks in advance! -Phil

Hi Phil, if you have gotten your simulator to launch and run your app. all you need to do is Save your changes in the Buzztouch control panel and your running simulator will be prompted to refresh and see you new changes. (you can also hit the Refresh icon in the top left of your apps home screen) hopefully that covers what your asking? Also, check out some of the New User Webinar recordings. you can also register for the next one coming soon! https://www.buzztouch.com/account/events.php

One of the really cool things about Buzztouch is that when you create your app, regardless if it is only one screen, or several, the 'package' that you download is pretty much ready for any change you can think of 'except' a new plugin that wasn't in your control panel 'before' you downloaded your app. Add screens, delete screens, add capabilities that weren't there. It's all good. Just make the changes in your control panel. When your app launches, the latest configuration is retrieved from your control panel, and your local app makes the appropriate changes. You will of course, need to add/remove/change images and local documents being used in the app, but with respect to the 'engine' or 'framework' of your app, it's very dynamic. Just follow the 'installation.pdf' file that comes with the package, and you should be all good. but let us know if you have any questions! Cheers! -- Smug

There is always a refresh button on the navigation bar of the first screen. This refreshes the data for the app and if changes have been made in the control panel, then you press this button and it will refresh with the new content. If you have got rid of the navigation bar in the control panel, you can always bring it back temporarily and then delete it; or quit and launch the app when you have made changes. Beware though. Just because you can press the refresh button, it doesn't mean that you can send the package off to Apple without re-downloading the source code. If you do this, the app will be the last downloaded source code, and it will be in-complete. You must re-download the source code before you send the package off to Apple.
