Just can't seem to get the animation going. Here are my questions: 1. Am I suppose to select the splash screen in the global themes? 2. I have titled my images 1.jpg, 2.jpg and so on, is this OK? 3. Where am I suppose to place the images, should I place in the BT_Art folder? 4. Can I put my animation files in one folder to keep them together? 5. I don't understand the whole issue with the iOS launch image, confused.

Okay - hopefully this will help: 1) Yes, you must select the splash screen in the global theme settings. 2) Try putting a name in front of the number, like so: "image1.jpg", "image2.jpg". 3-4) You can put the images all in one folder to keep them organized. You should probably make this a sub-folder to "BT_Images", but I don't think it should matter. 5) What do you mean by the "whole issue"? Were you able to get the standard splash screen working prior to using the animated splash screen plugin?

you mention in the description of the plugin about balancing the design with the launch image. Don't understand. Also when I go to global themes and click the 'select' button, my splash screen name doesn't appear in the list, is that right?

Are you on self-hosted or buzztouch.com? There was a bug in the control panel that got fixed in 2.1.8 to let you select it in the global themes. You can still manually type the screen's nickname into the field, though. As far as balancing the plugin with the splash screen, XCode lets you specify a "splash screen" image in the project properties. That will show first, and then the app will load the plugin. Most people will probably find it best to keep the XCode splash image as a black screen.

On the main project properties, at the "Summary" tab. Scroll down and you'll see "launch images".

The BT_Images folder should have downloaded with your source code. You'll have to drag it into XCode from the Finder window. But, you can try it in the BT_Art folder and see if it works - I think it probably will.

Still unable to get the plugin going. My app freezes on launch, there appears to be an issue with my Global theme, my splash page will not show for me to select and when I write the name of my screen and save, when testing in the simulator it freezes the app. Not sure what to do. I have downloaded the code 3 times but get the same results. Any idea what I can do next?

Okay - in XCode, press the middle "view" button (see screenshot) to reveal the debugging output https://dl.dropbox.com/s/isp7sizio2bdnak/Screen%20Shot%202013-02-19%20at%207.46.17%20PM.png?token_hash=AAH6WXpm-7z7YK-052m8XgtCODxaCfew4Ayp9iUL6FtAsQ&dl=1 Then, run the app in the simulator. You should see a bunch of messages scroll through up until the point where it freezes up. Copy and paste those messages here.

If you still can't figure out how to get the debug output, read this how-to: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Problem_Reporting_and_Basic_Debug_v1.0.pdf

Can you just copy and paste the entire debug and send it in a PM to me?
