Apple Mach-O Linker Error

Hello, I tried to run my v1.5 app in the Xcode simulator, however it failed. The error was: Apple Mach-O Linker Error linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) I googled the error and found people with the same problem, however, it appears that each of them were for different reasons, and I didn't understand any of them anyway. Does anyone know how to resolve this error? Thanks.

It could be using too new of a version of Xcode with the v1.5 app. I think you need to use 4.2 or older for 1.5 apps. Also, could have something to do with the version of SDK or your target version you're using to compile for.

I already successfully did this with Xcode 4.5 and I'm pretty sure 4.6 also (I may be wrong). I've tried it with all the target versions and it comes up with the same error.

Hi shak77, you were able to build and run a v1.5 app in Xcode 4.5? Is this in Simulator or device?

Maybe the download in this link will help you find the error? http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=D25107F1F57B493DBF50E56&currentPage=1
