Creating an App ID with Push Notifications Problems

Ive downloaded and followed Niraj's PDF tutorial on setting up the certificates for push notifications, however when I got to the section on selecting a Bundle Seed ID it only gave me the option to use the Team ID. I selected this and continued up until I have to convert from p12 to pem, at this stage I got the following error: 68699:error:0D07207B:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_get_object:header too long:/SourceCache/OpenSSL098/OpenSSL098-44/src/crypto/asn1/asn1_lib.c:150: I checked online and it seemed to suggest my certificate was corrupted in someway, I then checked on here and found a link a video and link to p12pem.com where it could create a pem online. This again returned an error so it certainly seems there's a problem somewhere. Should I be able to use the Team ID as the Bundle ID or is there a particular reason why we should be changing it, and if so, how can I change it? Thanks in advance.

You cannot use a team ID for Push notifications. I found that out the very time consuming and hard way.

I thought that might be the case. Is there anyway for me to change it? - There doesn't seem to be an option in the Provisioning Portal.

Have been looking online and it seems that the 'Generate New' option is now removed from the developers Profile and that TeamID is the only option. Could somebody please check and confirm this is the case for them also?
