Trying to be concise here - previous post has too many updates by myself. This is cleaner. Updated an app in Itunes and it became live just yesterday. It works. But now, when I run it on an iphone or ipad simulator, the build succeeds but the simulator opens up and theres a black screen. I even replaced the files with a time machine backup of a few days ago, but same thing. The debug console gives me what follows. I'm really confused about what could have happened. The last entries of the console deal with mp3 files that I don't even use in the app. Thanks. So... it works on a real device, but not on a simulator...? Smug, I always worry when something can't be explained, if even the app runs since who knows what it will mean later. The itemid is the home screen. Any ideas as to how to find out what's wrong with it that would make the simulator black out? Steve

Well, went ahead and copied the config.txt file from BT itself and replaced the one in Xcode with it and the simulator runs. Some somehow the text file on my computer must have gotten corrupted somehow. Still would like to know how, but at least it works. Steve

Things within the simulator are not as stable as within the actual device. Remember, there is no iOS hardware within your computer; it's all simulated. As such, not everything is as dependable as with a real device. Still, I know what you mean; no one wants errors, on anything. I wouldn't worry about it 'too' much, it's just one of those simulator things. Cheers! -- Smug

This is what I think is going on. You know those errors that David is trying to fix in Xcode 4.6; that is the SDK for iOS 6.1. If someone is using iOS 6.1 on their device, it may experience the errors that the SDK is seeing.
