Can you give us an example or two of already existing apps that use that approach? (Something for Android too, please, I am not on a Mac.) Also a list of requirements for such an app? -- Just to get the ball rolling...

Mobicart is a good option, would be nice if A BT developer could create something like this.

My original question/idea was, I am looking for idea to create an app that can work for multi eCommerce platforms eg opencommerce, magento etc to extract/load products from live site and once customer happy to buy, its passed info to main site about purchase OR redirect to cart on the site and process payment via payal. Hope you will get the idea. many thanks Naseer

Hi @Naz, You could use the custom url to link to a secure checkout. Create a form, which I believe @chris1 is creating a form plugin now, and have the info submitted to the secure link of the ecommerce location. LA

Thanks LA, any other way to staying within the application and completing the purchase process and sending purchase data to original store?

Thank you @Worker73! I might have a client for a pet shop, with exotic fish, that wants me to build an Android App for him. He needs a website done but I can't help him there and don't even know how much websites cost to build now days. LA

@LA, well, website does not cost much if its simple wordpress is free, as for as petshop or ecommerce site there are few options either open source or proprietary solutions. I prefer open source like oscommerce, prestashop or magento. they are pretty easy to setup.
