Spreadsheet Plug in

Hello, BTers! Got a simple problem. I'm wanting to link a spreadsheet in a single tab layout, menu button configuration. Well, I created the button and it is somehow pointing to my "welcome" page?? I want the spreadsheet to pop open when I select the button I created for it in the menu button plug in. It doesn't. It opens the welcome page. Went into screens and actions and tried to point the spreadsheet and button in other ways...spreadsheet still not opening when I tap the button I created for the doc. NOTE: I dragged the doc to Xcode and dropped it into docs, hit "build". Re-started the simulator...still nothing. What am I missing? Weeee! Thank you so much, RW

When you say 'welcome page' are you talking about a splash screen? Check out a few things... 1) Make sure your splash screen is listed in your 'theme' configuration only. 2) Make sure you have the Excel Plugin as your 'spreadsheet' screen 3) Make sure you linked your Excel Plugin Screen from your menu 4) Make sure you linked your spreadsheet from your Excel Plugin 5) Make sure you 'added' the spreadsheet to the project, and not just 'copied' it. Then it 'should' work... Can you check to ensure those steps are completed? Cheers! -- Smug

Hi Smug, no splash screen. I have not fiddled with that plug in, yet! What I mean by "welcome page" is, I created a starting point as I'm learning how things lay out as I compile from the app builder to Xcode. I happened to name a tab/button "Welcome" and I managed to link this page to an HTML doc. (YAY) I'm utilizing the single-tabbed layout with a menu tab plug in and now I'm trying to link OTHER specific functions and content to the tabbed menu plug in from the screens and actions window. I have created another icon and button and I want it to open the spreadsheet. Ok, I will go through the steps you are suggesting here. I'm sure something positive will transpire regardless of the outcome. Thank you, RM

Smug, Have you ever used the RSS plug in feature in app builder? Where do you plug in the feed? It has to be XML too, right?

Typically, but alas I have not use the RSS plugin. There is one on BT Mods, and a few folks keep threatening to release one for Android, but I just haven't found a need for one just yet, so I haven't really tested any possibilities. Cheers! -- Smug
