Which Ad system is better?

Hey guys and girls I have finished my app and am now integrating ads into the app. I have installed RevMob at the start of the app and now want to include a small banner ad at the top of the app to run the whole time the app is open. The question is what app network do I use that will deliver the best results? I have heard a lot of good things about Mobclix. Can anyone give me some advice on this? Kind regards Lloyd

It's hard to say these days - it seems like every ad network is having some kind of issue lately. I would still recommend RevMob even though their eCPM has fallen quite a bit...they always pay right on time and are very quick to respond to emails. Chartboost is also good - they are currently having a serious issue with unreported installs, but they are definitely an honest company and they are being very transparent about their ongoing effort to fix the problem Those are currently the two ad networks I have in each of my apps - usually a RevMob fullscreen at launch/re-launch and a "More" button that shows a Chartboost "More Apps" screen. Most ad networks allow you to run/pause their ads whenever you want, so it might be a good idea to implement a bunch of different ones and then test them against each other I would NOT recommend Mobclix...I'm not sure where you've heard good things but I've only heard bad things. I'm mainly going by this 33 page thread over at the iphonedevsdk forums about late Mobclix payments...some people are only now getting paid for June/July earnings!! - http://iphonedevsdk.com/forum/business-legal-app-store/105160-mobclix-payments-so-late-this-month-p1.html I wouldn't go anywhere near an ad network that isn't going to pay you on time I'm currently experimenting with a new ad network for iOS called AppLovin - https://www.applovin.com/index - I'm getting decent numbers with them, but they don't allow you to pause ads (I think they're working on implementing it)

@Highveld If you listen to anyone about ad networks, follow @Absentia! He pushes the barrel with a lot of things and is an invaluable resource when it comes to this type of thing (and others I might add) so follow the man!

The best ad for user experience is iAds, but it doesn't gain much revenue.

@Absentia, I've been reading up on Revmob a lot lately and really want to use it but... 1. I've been reading a lot about Revmob delivering a low eCPM lately compared to where it has been in the past. Have you seen it go back up or does it usually go up and down? 2. I want to have the ad load when the app is first opened but is this going to drive my users away? What is your experience with this and have you received bad reviews due to this kind of ad? Thanks for your help and advice!
