Hi guys new plugin released on the market. Voucher plugin, for the US guys I think it's a coupon plugin. The plugin allows access to a specific screen by using an individual code. The code is the desired screens nickname. (Nice and easy) It has a couple of presets, voucher, email, password so all the text will match Just add this voucher screen. Make the other screens and whatever the screen nickname is are that's the code. An example of it's use if your a photographer and only want the client to see there photographs. Give them the passcode and only they can see them. This has no real security so would not recommend for truely sensitive information. Can this plugin be used as an email signup feature? The user would enter their email address, which would be sent to the app owner, then they would have access to the content?

No, you supply the password they can access it. You may say we have a plugin that does that already. The buzztouch password screen locks a particular screen, and all of the different passwords lead to the same screen. This plugin you could have in the example of the photographer 200 image galleries (URL images of course to save space) You don't want everyone to have access to them galleries. This plugin lets you give them the password to access their particular album. Does that make sense. I am working on a mailing list plugin though so stay tuned for that one

yeah it makes sense. My thought was on a Voucher/discount type screen for a store would be to have a user enter their email address/Name to receive some sort of Voucher/discount for a store or something similar.

The idea came from somebody asking me if we could use a voucher code to access a particular part of the app. this is what spawned, maybe a name change?

This is a HUGE marketing tool. curses for dropping this on me when I'm still trying to finish up some other stuff. but this is like a new toy that I want to take apart and see how it ticks. so much potential here..... Lots of ways you could use this. For a business, you want to have coupons for people who need them, but you don't want the customers who don't really need the coupon to use them, because the business makes less money. So coupons often come with a small bit of a hassle--it used to be bringing in a piece of paper. So the business could have a advertisement that says, enter this code to reveal your coupon UPC. The business could have a lot of different specials locked inside the app that become unlocked by different codes. And because the buzztouch apps are live, businesses could add new vouchers. You could also try targeted advertising with this, to see what works better by sending different voucher codes to different subsets of customers. Also, the business could require that people go to their website to get the code each week. This brings customers to their website.

completely agree that this has huge potential.. wheels are turning. Trying to figure out how I could modify this so that as they enter the code I can also capture information about them (name/email) for additional marketing. Great stuff Kittsy!!

Cool ideal, Kittsy. But I agree about the name of the plugin being a little misleading. Perhaps if you called it the "Screen Unlocker" plugin, it would make perfect sense to everyone?

A plugin like this is very interesting, because it could be used in so many ways. It will be interesting to see how the community uses it, and once we do we can modify the read me to give the potential buyers more ideas.
