Flurry, separating Analytics between iPhone & iPad

Hi All Thought I might share some info I got from Flurry. I asked them about the iPhone/iPad API and if I needed both to track all usage of my app, they came back with some useful info on how to track separately if you prefer, see the reply below... If you wish to integrate a Universal app with Flurry, you can do so by using the Flurry iPhone SDK. Now, if you wish to track the Analytics for the iPhone and the iPAD app separately, you need to follow the below steps- 1. Create 2 projects on our dev portal (1 each for iPad and iPhone). 2. Use the 2 API keys (iPhone and iPAD), in your code using the logic given below 3. Integrate using the iPhone SDK (void)applicationDidFinishLaunching:(UIApplication *)application { if device is iPAD { [FlurryAnalytics startSession:@"API Key for iPad project"] } else { [FlurryAnalytics startSession:@"API Key for iPhone project"] } If you do not wish to track the analytics for both the platforms separately, please ignore the above logic and use a single API key to report iPhone and iPad into a single project on the Flurry dev portal.

Kaybee - thanks. This is excellent. I always wanted to look into this, but never took the time.

Excellent tip, I bet that technique can be applied to a lot of other SDK's too! Simple if/else. Just Brilliant. Thanks!
