For iOS, I'd use iAds. It's all integrated and is nicer for the end-user

Has anyone successfully combined two ad providers in one BT app - e.g. iAd with something else?

RevMob has been having a lot of issues lately with delayed install reports and low eCPMs. The thing is, even with those issue is still consistenly make more using RevMob than anything else. I am interested to hear your guys exact reason for settling on iAds. I have only heard bad things about the fill rate, eCPM, etc. I can think of 10 other ad networks I would try before trying iAds

yeah AlanMac - I've combined iAds and Revmob - no problems at all! Absentia - yeah I've been getting low ecpms compared with before although I've found less of the technical problems we used to have with ad links Revmob used to have quotes of 25-50 $ ecpms but now many developers are reporting 3-5$ ecpms on average after a few months (based on a recent google search for revmob ecpms) I'm trying to get a benchmark figure such as the average ecpm of revmob network developers, or the expected range etc, so I can benchmark my apps

1) iAds is the easiest to integrate 2) As a frequent app user before I started developing, iAds was a nicer experience, because it didn't take you out of the app. 3) Statistics tell me that they each Ad agency gives roughly the same amount revenue, and end-user experience is more important.

Not asserting the 3-5$ ecpms average by the way - hoping 3-5$ ecpms on average is an incorrect figure ;)

revmob doesn't tale you out of the app anymore it uses the storekit.framework. iAds is simple with buzztouch, but revmobs seems to pay a lot higher I did a video tutorial you can checkout at www.youtube.com/kittsapps

@ Kittsy - I noticed RevMob was using the storekit.framework for a while, but it seems currently they are back to taking you out of the app....is this not your experience?

The first days of February were horrible. Hardly any installs based on my usual impressions and clcks.. I actually wrote them and there was an issue..I've been mixing it up a bit with chartboost and will start with a few mobile CPA ads soon. But like Absentia through the low ecpm it is still the best in terms in earnings. For my audience it seems and iAds is fine but it the earnings are just so much lower..

Hi AppOneBeta, if you have any tips on how you did revmob with IAD, I'd be grateful. Thanls, Alan

Hi AlanMac, don't know if I misunderstood you, but thought you just wanted to know if they clash in anyway in the app. All I did was enable iAds in iTunes, and on a couple of screens in the control panel, then added Revmob as per the tutorials in the BT forum. I don't know if you are talking about embedding revmob into iAds or a switch of some sort which is all way out of my capabilities ;)

Using Kittsy's video (thanks Kittsy), I added Revmob to an app today. I also enabled iad in the BT control panel. The result is that I see one Revmob banner ad that never changes and the odd full screen Revmob ad; iad doesn't seem to get a look in. What I was hoping for is to see ads from one and if there are no ads to show from that one, then to see ads from the other and for banner ads to change every now and then. I am sure there is something else I need to do, just don't know what.

FYI guys - Revmob got back to me about what eCPMs to expect these days - saying $5 - 20 using the Fullscreen are very common
