I went into eclipse and looked at res -- values - strings xml. The first entry is app_name. I changed it there, ran the app and the name changed to what I wanted. Are you saying that changing it in the config file and then recompiling will change this strings xml entry as well or can I just change it the way I did and not have to deal with changing the entry you mentioned in config? What I'm saying is, in my BT control panel, I designated the name of my project, and that's the only place I've ever touched it.
