Hello

Hi all, I'm Tristan but you can call me @tnasch. I have a plan for a simple enough app, I have little coding experience, some basic html, css and have just taken the first 14 lessons at btu that have introduced me to objective c. It appears that I need to be a confident coder to use buzztouch to build my app, is this the case? I must say at this point that I need my app to more unique than (e.g.) using the Home Screen Menu pluggin as a home screen menu. This is why I've come to buzztouch after realizing that other online options don't give me the functionality (or the ownership) that I require. Although I'm eager to learn and keen to do this myself, I'm wondering whether I need to hand it over to the professionals after all?

Hello Tristan, Welcome to buzztouch! You actually don't need to know how to code AT ALL in order to use buzztouch...that's the beauty of it. Everything you saw in the videos is already coded for you in the form of plugins. You just select what you want, configure it, add the content, and you're on your way! Tons of people here willing and able to help...cry out when you need something! Mark

I would say you need to be more of a confident 'Lego' fan than a confident coder. Most plugins just 'snap' in, and you sort of build it the way you envision it... If you need something 'really' fancy, you may have to delve into a bit of code... but until you're willing, you don't really have to do any of that. Hope you find a home here! Cheers! -- Smug

Hi Annandale. I'm in Vancouver BC Canada right now. But my wife and I have our real roots in Bend Oregon. Cool. A happy birthday to you.
