iOS Push Notification Sound Effects questions

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to use a custom sound with Push Notifications. I'm on a Buzztouch hosted control panel. Here are my questions: - What format should the audio file be in? (mp3, aiff, caf, other?) - Should this file be in my BT_Sound folder? - Since I can't upload audio files to my Buzztouch control panel, do I just type the file name of the file in the BT_Sound folder into the "Sound Effect" field in the Push Notification? Thanks! William

With a little testing I figured this out myself. My steps: I created an .aiff audio file. I used Audacity, a free audio editing program for Windows, Mac & Linux: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ I placed the .aiff file in the BT_Sounds folder in XCode and did a build to my device. In the Buzztouch Push console page I entered the file name in the "Sound Effect" field and sent the Push. Worked brilliantly! I hope this helps someone to add some custom push sounds to their app. -William
