Buzztouch Server - File/Media folder

Is there a way that you can organize Files/Media folders within Buzztouch server? I would like to organize my image folder to include multiple sub-folders. Thanks!

If you're talking about segregating the existing directory structure, probably not without a lot of modification on the server script side... I'm guessing you mean instead of just 'images' or 'documents' you'd like a subdirectory, like 'images/icons' or 'documents/pdfs'...? Not this week. Cheers! -- Smug

Hello SmugWimp, Thanks for the quick reply. Sad to hear that such a simple feature is not available. This makes organizing images, documents and other files almost unmanageable when working with a large number of files. Maybe someone else can chime in with an easy solution, I'm sure that I am not the only one that has run into this problem. Thanks!

Mr. David and I have been working on a couple of scripts to allow multiple files being uploaded at the same time... that will alleviate the annoying task of one-by-one uploading... But with respect to file management, that's something that has to be done at the BT developer level... And for the moment, they're putting out fires on the latest release; they won't be available for a few more days I suspect... That sort of thing 'is' on the list of improvements, but as with anything else, it won't happen until it happens. We're trying to get the script finished; at least it'll be 'something' in the way of an improvement... but we're also in the middle of our own projects, and so it might be a few weeks... Cheers! -- Smug
