Cheapest Self Hosted Server Option?

I am looking to self host. What would be the cheapest options for self hosting? ..Godaddy, Amazon, creating my own server, etc.. Thanks

If you already have a domain and a site hosted somewhere, you can install BuzzTouch self hosted version for free and use it from the site. That is what I do anyways because I have lots of sites and one of them is dedicated to the app builders, so it was logical to host it on that domain. But any domain and any normal hosting (PHP, cPanel, MqSQL) should do the trick.

I prefer Network Solutions. I don't know if they're the cheapest. Cheers! -- Smug

I use godaddy but I'm using a dedicated server. So it can be expensive. The support is great though. I had a problem with my BT server and they told me how to fix it.

I use shared hosting on Godaddy. Pretty cheap and reliable. When I get my business built up a bit I may look at dedicated

As mentioned by Desko, you can have your own hosting and any of your domain. If you still think this is not affordable then registered any .tk domain (which are free) then search 1$ hosting on google. So your total cost would be 1$ per moth for rest of life, but hosting might not be as good as hostgator or any well known names. I personally use hostgator VPS and its works for me best.

I've used Hostgator for years. They're very affordable and reliable. Support is good too. http://g0.to/hostgator I have a vps with them as I do some specialist video stuff but their unlimited plans start from $4 p/m. Reseller is $25 p/m which you can setup unlimited domains with. I noticed when I installed BT I had to whitelist the domain via Putty for the install to work. So you might want to check with whoever you go with that they can whitelist your domain if you have probs with the install.
