Video on phone, not on simulators - normal?

Have an app which run videos from my personal web site (mp4's). On my one and only test device, an LG phone, they run fine. When I use the simulators, all I get is audio, even in the simulator for the phone itself. Is this standard for the simulators, or is something wrong. I had hoped to see how the videos looked on other devices through the simulators. Steve

I think that's standard. Android simulator isn't great at video or maps.

Normal? Not sure. Maybe. Surprised? Not at all. There are settings on the simulators for memory, and graphics and things of this nature. Unfortunately these are things I haven't really messed with; most of my stuff isn't graphics intensive. My Android Simulators, at best, are cold molasses slow, so I don't expect much out of them anyway. Not sure what your best alternative is, but I hope it comes! Cheers! -- Smug
