Submenus?

We use to be able to create submenus. I don't see that option on plugin for simple menus. I believe that is where it was before. If anyone can help me with this ... or some enterprising young developer can create a plugin ... It would help a lot. Thanks Tony

To create a submenu, you can just add another Menu List Simple to be one of the items on the app's home screen. Jake

That's what I do. Menu image with header that in turn leads to menu list simple.

I'm similar to McApple, but I cascade Menu with Image into another Menu with Image. What can I say; more banners = more potential revenue. Cheers! -- Smug

@SmugWimp, do you use advertising in your apps?

I 'plan' to do advertising in my apps. But I don't plan to use iAd or anything of that nature. I'm doing local marketing. Susan's 'Menu with Image' has a nice space for a graphic at the top of the screen below the Nav Bar. I usually cut the height in half (by default it's 150px, I cut it to 75px), and use that space as a 'banner' area, using a dataURL that points at a 'rotating banner php' script that works pretty slick. Right now it's a bunch of self promotion banners, to be substituted with paying customers as soon as feasible. The App is free; it's a real estate app for my friend who is a realtor, and 'we' plan to 'cookie cut' the app for several other realtors. Once a few realtors have apps out, and a few hundred or more copies are out, I hope to get the local pest control, home finance, car sales, culligan, that kind of local business to advertise, since the 'target' is local home buyers. The realtors also pay a fee for the app, and a small monthly 'maintenance' fee. My 'long term' plan is a lot of free apps (to the public) and a lot of recurring advertising revenue, just on a local rather than national or global scale. My target market lives within 30 miles of me. They have to; anything else after that is water ;) That's my 'plan' anyway. Looks good on paper, we're 'just' getting off the floor. We'll see :) Cheers! -- Smug
