Customizing right nav bar icon for Android

In my iOS apps I have it set up so when the user chooses a certain right navigation bar icon (ie rewind) it actually brings them back to the homescreen. The code for that was based on someone's tutorial on how to set up a print button. Anyways, I'm now working on the android version of my app and would like to do the same thing. I saw the "intercepting menu taps" which doesn't quite tell me what I need to do. Has anyone else done this? Thanks! Josh

If your using nontabbed, have the right button go to the menu your using as home screen. If your using tabbed, link the right button to the splash screen. -Shane

Shane, I see what you're saying. But I don't necessarily want to just load the screen but to go "home". In other words, I don't want there to be a back button arrow at the top left. Josh
