(NOTE: This is not a stream, just an mp3 file sitting on a server.) Problem: this works great when the phone has wifi, but hardly works at all if the phone's wifi is turned off and phone is relying on its cell network. Any clues what's going on? Not sure about cell network speed, but considerably slower I'm guessing. As I tested app with wifi connection, audio play of mp3 was fine. I'm assuming now its because the app download the ENTIRE file first (very quickly), then played it. The cell connection make downloads VERY slow, thus almost no audio plays. Going to see if perhaps I can access mp3s via a streaming server connection instead. Maybe bypass the need to download the entire mp3, as I suspect is the problem now. On cell phone via cell network: .03MBPS Yep, you read that right. No wonder it takes a 35mb mp3 some time to buffer or download!
