A quick twelve minutes (had to keep the Twenty Minute Tutorial title, though!) doing an Android ADT bundle install, this time on Mac OS X Mountain Lion. As with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Ubuntu 12, the install is quick and painless, and pretty much works as advertised! Totally hit that security problem during the middle of it, but I kinda like when that happens, because it's a good way to show people how to get past problems when they come up. I've been bashing my head against a brick wall, downloading, unzipping, installing, nothing working, deleting every trace, going through it all over again... and do you know what the one simple, stupid little thing was, that I didn't know? I didn't know to shutdown and RESTART Eclipse after installing the google apis! Of course now I know it, it's so blindingly obvious and simple! THANK YOU!
