I'm happy to say that I've finished the grunt work on the iOS part of my first plugin: SMS my GPS It's simple: It locates you, and preps a google map URL in an SMS message. Created for a friend of mine in the Coast Guard as part of an awareness campaign, if I can get it finished fast enough. I was shocked at how often people go out on boats and get adrift. They have their cell phone, but don't know where they are. That's a big ocean, ladies and gentlemen. This will alleviate a lot of spent fuel, as well as our four or five tourists a year who go missing for a day or two hiking in the jungle. As a side note, you can also use it to let someone know 'where the party is'. Or, "I live right over here". There are a million uses, most of which I haven't thought of. Maybe you can. iOS is done. Now I need to listen to that Webinar and figure out the other parts of it, as well as getting the Android side done. I doubt I'll charge for it. But if you make a million bucks, please give me a ride in your jet. Totally agree with the good man above. If you are putting this out on Android and iOS it would be one if my go to plugins, many uses. You'd be foolish not to charge.
