Video with ver 2 of BT on Android

I'm trying to convert an IOS app created on BT 1.5 to an Android app now on 2.0 Based on what I've read searching the forum I don't think this is possible but I'll ask: On the old app, I have 6 m4v files that I linked to by picking the screen type streaming video and kept these files in the BT-Video folder. I see no choice now for streaming video and don't see a plug in either. Is there any way I can put these files into my Android app (they take about 120 MB of space too, since I read that space may be a problem with Android) ? If not how can I do this? I've read suggestions about Dropbox and if I'll have to use that (which is unfortunate since I wanted to keep the app non internet dependent), how to I link files to the dropbox file (I really haven't used dropbox much).? Thanks. Steve

Hi Steve, Have you looked at AT53 Video Player Plugin? https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/plugin.php?pid=3C06F75263AE92A0B802F44

I'll have a look but will it allow m4v's to play on the Android, is there an Android file size limitation and in which folder would I put my m4v's? Thanks Steve

I've gotten video to work on both android and iOS.... the caveat being, it was using Atrain's AT53 Video plugin, and all content was on my server dished up by URL; not local. Catch Atrain on the forum if you want to ask nitty gritty details. Cheers! -- Smug

Final question on this: I've tried to get around this by putting a video file, call in myfile.mp4 on a web site, call it www.mywebsite.com Then I created an html file which has a link to www.mywebsite.com/myfile.mp4 Now, when I go in my browser and type in that url, it downloads the file and immediately opens a video player to play it. If I go to the web browser on my android phone and put in the url, it plays the video. But in BT, if I use that html page in an BT html document screen, and in the document tell it to load the same url, www.mywebsite.com/myfile.mp4, when i get to it in the app, I get a message "Open with which app? No applications can perform this action. " Why? Steve
