Transfer a V2.0 App to a Self Hosted V2.1.7

I there an easy way to transfer an APP developed in V 2.0 Buzztouch.com to your own BT Server Self Hosted 2.1.7 ? I would not like to have to rebuild the whole APP again externally ! have checked loads of forums but have not found one that can give me straight answer. Thanks in advance.

I think the json snippet keeper plugin can help you with this. Install the plugin on your self hosted CP. Then copy and paste the BT_config.txt from your app into the snippet keeper plugin.

I think I misunderstood. You will need to rebuild and resubmit the app to apple and google. All the snippet keeper does is makes it easier to transfer your BT data. You'll want to watch this video to see how it works. http://idevdepot.com/video-json-snippet-keeper-plugin-introduction/

The 'safe' bet would be to contact Stobe and see what can be done about it. Nad is correct; Moving to a new self hosted server (with respect to Apple) means a new build and a new submission (actually, an update). This will happen regardless of how simple or how difficult the app move is. It's a new binary as far as they are concerned. I don't think you're getting a 'straight' answer is because people are busy rebuilding their apps to answer. As of this date there is no 'easy' way to move apps. It's all manual, and it's all precarious. Stobe's JSON Snippet tool is about the closest thing to 'help' that is available for your situation. Sorry it couldn't be easier; believe me I've been working on backend utilities... it's easy to see, not as easy to do. Cheers! -- Smug
