Problem with Blank Screen Plugin

I installed the "Blank Screen" Plugin and included a Blank screen in my app. However, when the "Blank Screen" comes up a) there is no "Back" Button on the Navigation Bar b) The title of the Navigation Bar is not visible. I tried all kinds of things, e.g. change the transparency of the bar, change its color, even tried to hide it! The navigation bar is always there, the only thing that I can change is its color... Any ideas?

Have you added the BT_screen_blank to the source code project. When there is no navbar control it means there is no BT code telling it to be changed.

Hey Kittsy, thanks for your reply, isn't what you're suggesting supposed to be added automatically when the application itself is updated? Why should I add it myself? (I thought that whatever changes I made using the BuzzTouch Control Panel are automatically included in the app and viewable at the iPhone simulator).

I'm working on iOS and I managed to solve the problem. "If the plugin wasn't in the source code when it was initially downloaded it won't be there." - I was not aware of that. I am a newbie, as you can easily tell.... I just re-downloaded the source code and replaced the old Plugins folder with the new one. Now, it works perfectly :-) So, in other words, whenever I use a new plugin, I have to download again the source code and replace the old plugin folder with the new one, right? I appreciate your interest, thank you very much!

You don't always have to, if you buy a new plugin from the amrket say the awesome Buzz Carousel lol, you can download the self hosted version and drag the ios files into xcode and change the BT_appDelegate names to yourApp_delegate it saves API calls if you are self hosted. Always happy to help when I know the answer lol

I am having the same problem, but re-downloading the source code didn't work for me. Its odd, because certain plug-ins have a back button (menu simple), and certain ones, like the "blank screen" and "device info" have nothing in them when I click on them on the iPhone simulator. HELP!!

Try copying the BT_plugin folder from the zip file you downloaded to your app folder by dragging/ dropping it in the xcode's far left window (sorry, Im not home at the moment and I cant recall the exact terms, but you get the point)
