Hi, any interest in Android Plugins

What's up guys, I'm a senior engineering student and have been coding android apps for about 4 months, made some apps made some money, I looked in the plug-ings marketplace and didn't see many android plug-ins I was wondering if there is any interest in Android Plugins, I can upload a soundboard and quiz plug in, would anyone be interested in those?

Hello Sukera! I assure you will find a LOT of interest here for Android Plugins. You could develop you own, or you might also want to contact any of the plugin developers who have create ios-only plugins and perhaps arrange something for converting existing plugins. Either way, the sky's the limits here for someone with skills!

Thanks for the reply stobe, the $50 signup fee is a bit steep to be able to upload plugins, do you think I can recover that by selling the plug-ins for 2 dollars a piece?

If I could predict sales, I'd be in a different career :) And without divulging actual stats from the current developers, my answer to you would be: Recovering $50 in Android plugin sales should not be hard to do. Please accept that answer understanding that there are of course no guarantees. Just my honest gut feeling.

Because there are so few Android plugins there should be some pent up demand. We especially need plugins that work on both iOS and Android.

Typically my plugin dollar is more attracted to cross platform plugins than single platform plugins. And I have a lot of plugin dollars waiting for the next cross platform plugin. Cheers! -- Smug

I don't think I can do the 3d android menu, since I'm not very good with graphics, that's a cool idea though The quiz I made has a leaderboard, but it's not connected to any db, it only stores you personal scores

@Sukera I have no doubt you will see a great return on android plugins. As you are an experienced developer already you should be able to benefit from using buzztouch to create apps also as it can take care of countless hours of basic programming then give you the source code which you can expand further. Chris1 on here has submitted an webform plugin for ios so an android version of that would be cool. Also any kind of shopping cart/product order would be great. Thanks

I think we have enough iOS developers creating plugins and practically no Android developers creating plugins, so I say you will make a return on $50 very easily provided you meant the demands of the community. I need a good few plugins for Android which are not available.

There may be others working on this but we really need an RSS plugin, lots of threads here about work arounds etc. Take a look at the iOS screens without equivalents ... lots to do there! The apps I've been doing always need both an iOS screen and Android screen. IMHO the Android market is ripe for the picking for someone with some Java skills (not me unfortunately). I've opened my wallet in anticipation :) All the best with it ...

Hey @Sukera, Welcome! I would suggest on becoming a member and test the plugin market here @buzztouch. As an Android developer, I would buy the plugins if they fit my need and it had a great design look and feel to it. Good luck! LA

@Sukera, Presently you can not pay for membership or plugin market credit with Paypal. We are working on allowing this, but for now payments can be made by way of a credit card.

You should be able to charge a bit more than $2 per plugin. Once a Buzztouch member buys your plugin they are able to use it an unlimited number of times (for self hosted). Think of the value you are providing to your plugin users because of this, and price your plugin accordingly.

Thanks for the all the input guys, but as of now I don't have a cc to use to buy a buzztouch account, I am willing to pay on PayPal, but as of now buzzoutch won't accept paypal, so until then Ill continue to dev my own apps, if they allow paypal Ill pay the registration fee and post plugins asap
