BTM Gallery - Cached Images Lost

Hi there, I'm developing an app for iPad where I use two plugins: 1 - Menu Buttons 2 - BTM Image Gallery The idea is to start with two buttons in the Menu Buttons, each one pointing to a BTM Image Gallery. Each of these galleries have their own pictures, that are fetched remotely from an URL (images are actually hosted in my buzztouch hosted server), and the "Yes, cache web-images" option is selected. This App is submitted to App Store. After that, the idea is from time to time to be able to add a new button, pointing to a new BTM Gallery, with it's own different images, also coming from URL. This way I can add new galleries without needing to resubmit the App to the App Store. When I have the first version of the app with the 2 buttons, I launch it with an Internet connection, the images are loaded and kept in cache. I launch the app with no internet connection and the images are all there and "swipable". That's OK. When I add a new button and image gallery, a pop-up for updating the app shows up correctly. After updating the new button appears. At that point I go to the new gallery and the new images are downloaded correctly. OK too. But if at this point I disable the internet connection and try to go to the first 2 galleries no pictures are shown... This seems to indicate that when this update is made, the cache is cleaned somehow, and the user will have to download all images again. This would be ok if were talking about 3 or 4 images per gallery, buy I'm talking about 40 per gallery. So being, how could I prevent this from happening, so that I can guarantee that when an update for introducing a new button and BTM gallery is made, the other images are preserved and the end user doesn't have to download them again? Thanks in advance!

That's a tough one for sure. We stopped offering support for the BTM gallery a while back, especially since the release of the new core. I would recommend switching to the buzztouch market one named "Mac Image Gallery", that should solve the issue. Or go to a more non-native solution? David https://buzztouchmods.com/market
