Incorporate Event Espresso for Wordpress in an App

I am making an app for my dad's business and they use Event Espresso (http://eventespresso.com/) for their events calendar on the store's website. I would like to incorporate that into the app so that we can have the calendar on the app as well as the website. Can anyone point me in the right direction, assuming this is actually possible? I don't want to do it if it is super complicated either. Thanks!

Do they have calendar html that you could embed into an html plugin?

The simplest way to do it, would be to update the app/calendar info manually. However it's possible to do it automatically, this would be significantly harder unless as Outbreak mentioned, it had some sort of HTML/other embedding method. You could use a simple pdf plugin, and just display your calendar with that or use a html plugin. Again if you wanted to do it manually. - tM

If there are no design restrictions (as in, offline), my vote is on embedding the HTML in a webview and have it pull information from the website. It would take around 10 minutes to test and implement. In your test app, add an HTML Screen. In the HTML page that you'll load in the screen, put this in: <html> <head> <script type="text/javascript">window.location='http://mywebsite.com';</script> </head> </html> And see what the results turn out to be. If that isn't good enough, or doesn't work the way you think it should, then you'll need to look into rebuilding the web page into the mobile environment. That might take a little doing, as it seems that expresso site only supports word press. You'd need to play with it a bit, or contact the vendor and ask a few questions about how to utilize their services in the mobile environment; maybe they're already working on it, and could use a beta tester. I hope the first idea works. It's the one with the least effort. Cheers! -- Smug

So you would be running a mobile wordpress version right? Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com
