Why has my self hosted server been removed ?

I know this seems a bizarre thing to ask but i had a self hosted server for apps, Grandfathered the site and was given it, After setting it all up , I didn't use it for a while, So i could get my company up and running ( for web and app design etc). After logging back in to buzz touch I've noticed it says I'm a guest and that I no longer have my self hosted server anymore whats all that about ?

Because the membership has ran out, you need to pay $50 for a year now to use these features

@Trendz: Glad to see you're back. You don't need to do anything different if you don't want to. Your grandfathered in account still shows your active API key, along with the 50 app limit. We'de welcome your membership if you choose to become one...but...you don't need to if you don't feel compelled. Hope this makes sense.

Membership is well worth it, and the best investment you can make if you want to take app developing serous. The webinars are good enough reason to convert! Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com

Yeah thanks a lot david i most likely will be becoming a member once i get my head round things again I have a quick question for you david. I set my self hosted server up a while back. I forgot the password to login and requested a new one. It was only then i realized the email account is now not used so i cant get the password LOL What would be my way around it ? Would i need to do a full fresh install of the server ? I hope not it took me bloody ages haha

Can you access your database? You can change it from there. Go to your mysql database, and find users, and edit email under yours. If you can't get it, email me at [email protected], we can do Team Viewer and I can fix it for you no problem at all free, it's very easy - no need to re-install the entire server! David.

Gotcha alert! The password is encrypted in the database so you'll need to know what to set it to. No small task unless you've done this before. 1) The default password that ships with the default user is: 79b98fb57b34bacfee2130bdd8d23530 That's the encrypted version of the password field. 2) Get into your database then execute this query: UPDATE bt_users SET email='YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS', logInId = 'YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS', logInPassword = '79b98fb57b34bacfee2130bdd8d23530' WHERE id = '1' That will reset the password to "buzztouchpro" (the value it was when you installed it) 3) Login using that password...find your account...change your password. d.

I was going to have him modify the email so he could send a password reset to the email he does have access too ;p through your idea is great too, having the default encrypted code is smart, and faster. Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com
