AT53 Video Player plugin doesn't seem to work

Hi, Have installed the plugin but it doesn't seem to be working. Linked it to a m4v file in my Xcode Video folder. When clicking on the Button that should go to the video screen I just get my Splash screen. Also, the plugin doesn't appear in my Xcode BT_Plugins folder. Is this normal? Sorry guys, I'm new at this. I might be missing something obvious...

I've used this plugin, it does work, but it doesn't play all video formats. I believe the plugin page has more info.

Thanks for purchasing! 1) The plug-in files MUST be in your BT_plugins folder. This is the code your project uses when it compiles. 2) Sounds like you deleted the screen and the Splash Screen was somehow connnected to that button. Open the Button menu and look at the 'Selecting this button'. Does it show a screen to load? It should be point to a AT Video type screen you created to launch a video.

If you've downloaded your source code, and the plugin is in your BT_Plugins folder, you'll need to drag it over to your Xcode project. It won't show up automatically.

To reply to both of you: - The Plugin is definitely not in the BT_Plugins folder. Neither on my computer folder nor in the Xcode window. So I can't drag it over. - The Button is definitely pointing to the AT Video screen. - I also installed the Blank Screen plugin and this doesn't appear either, even though both it and the AT53 show as Installed on my BT Installed Plugins page online. So it seems the plugins haven't been downloaded to my machine. ??

hmm... if the plugin is not in your project's 'Plugin' directory, you may want to re-download your source code... If a plugin is used in a project, it most certainly will need to be in the app. Usually its a part of your code download. If not, something didn't turn out as expected. Try making sure that it's in the project, and referred to in the code (via menu or whatever your design requirements are) and download your code again. Be sure to follow the install pdf file that comes bundled inside the zipped package. It has a few details that will need to be followed for it to work correctly. Cheers! -- Smug

HUGE THANKS! That did it. Re-downloaded the Source Code and there was the plugin which I then dragged into Xcode. Strange though that it didn't download it when I installed it in the first place... Anyway, all works great now. Thanks guys!

Good news. Maybe you didn't "COPY" resources to the project, just referenced them. That whole concept of how xcode copies/references files in bundle is confusing. Hope the plug-in comes in handy and make you a zillion seller app! check out some of the plug-in on the market from another Londoner - kittsy. think about a 'buzz carousel' of videos!

Thanks. Also found that drag and drop doesn't always work in Xcode. Best to 'Add Files' from the menu. When you say 'COPY', is there an obvious place/way of doing this that I may have missed? Will check out more plugins as soon as I get the basics working... Love the whole BT thing...
