Button size not working

Writing a ver 2 app and have a screen which has been arranged to be a grid with buttons. But no matter what I put in the Button Size, whether small or large device, the buttons are minuscule in the Eclipse emulator. I've changed them from the default of 60 to 300 and still no difference when it refreshes. What am I not understanding? Thanks. Steve

Hey @stevek, Your just having all types of problems today..lol..j/k. I would not rely on the emulator to test my button sizes before panicking. Try a Android device/phone first. LA

Unfortunately I don't have a Android device, so I have to rely on the simulator for now.

Try and find an old Android Phone that no one wants anymore... They're actually the better choices, IMHO. Since 'most' android phones are running v2.3, buying something 'recent' is no guarantee of compatibility or appearance. You'll find some of the more 'serious' developers here have many different devices to test on. Work with what you have for the moment (what else can we do..?) but check out craigs list/ebay/classifieds for old phones. But like LA said; don't fret about the simulator; it's opinion can be very suspect. Cheers! -- Smug
