App plugin thank you's

Hi all, Another meme app on the app store, this time everyones favorite loser, bad luck brian. I have used a few plugins on this one, Keiths Gallery, Atrains Tweet Sheet, Monsters photoefx and Marks Image emailer. I have also incorporated push using parse but I see its now on the dashboard which is great. https://itunes.apple.com/md/app/bad-luck-brian-memes/id594450460?mt=8 Any thoughts, either way, give me a shout! I'll get some codes up for if anyone would like one :) All the best,

Awesome! Where's Grumpy cat and how is that doing? I wanted to load that on the wifes phone sometime. I've been playing with an SDK that claims it has a meme maker in it. I can't seem to find it and waiting to hear back from their support. Hoping it's not a 'premium' service. Stats wave at baketball game. DROWNS. LOL. That kid is STILL luckier than me tho!

GC not available at the moment whilst a few adjustments are made. A meme creator would be great. I wondered about this for a plugin. Be interested in any updates on that.

No promises and it sorta conflicts with the PhotoEFX plugin. But it's full of way more features. I just haven't found the meme option even tho they claim it exists. I inquired with @themonster to see if he had an issue with it. He seemed ok so I was gonna send it to kittsy and have him jazz it up sometime. He's working on a ton of other stuff (as am I). I'm also watching to see how well folks do here integrating these 3rd party SDK's and how much support it's requiring for devs....Awesome stuff out there to integrate into apps - but not really for BT newbies.

Mods or plugins to "import" sdk's would be something cool. But providing the amount of sdk's and integrating methods for each, I'm finding a hard way to balance any kind of "easy" or "shortcut" method. David https://buzztouchmods.com

I would have....although it didn't come up. Just checked Notifications in the Settings app and nothing there. Did you remember to change the cert from Dev to Production? Did you use Parse or BT Version?

No meaning you didn't change the cert to a production .p12 in the Parse dashboard?

Seen where I've gone wrong. Will require an update as I need to create a production p.12!

You have to get the app to push to the user an alert that asks them if they want to allow push notifications. You can see what I mean with this app (it just happens to be mine) and you will see what I mean. App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tr-ford/id534417534?mt=8 Have you been able to get the push going on a development account with the app installed through Xcode?

It pushes fine with the dev profile to my device. It still does! I re-downloaded the app from the appstore to check it properly and realised there was no request to allow push notifications. I'm assuming I need to created a new distribution profile which is linked to the id of the one used for the development, that allows push?

In the provisioning part just add a production profile in the App ID section, then upload that to Parse. I would think you will need to recompile the app with the production cert. then update the app with Apple. I would really LOVE to know the answer to this question.

Isills, just a quick one if I may. I have generated the production certificate and added it to the parse dashboard. Do I know need to create a new distribution profile? Cheers.

Just to go over what I have done. - Added the production cert .p12 to the parse dashboard. - Created a new distribution profile with the app id configured for both dev and prod certs - Built for distribution with new distribution code signing profile This it?! Cheers.

Run through these step by step tutorials on how to add Parse to a BT app. Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHG7V8q0I_E Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzmqCij-V1I Also.... does you Configure App ID look like this? https://www.dropbox.com/s/0cjwqwhccse6wxc/CapturFiles-Jan-26-2013_10.10.35.jpg As for your question... I don't believe so as your App ID ties the production cert and the distribution cert together. I go over that in those Parse Tutorials. You need to make sure that Parse recognizes the production cert as such, it will say what kind of .p12 cert it thinks it is. I ran into a problem with this before. If you want you I will email you my UDID and you can email me a Ad Hoc version of the app for production testing. Let me know ([email protected])
