Linking Eclipse to a cloud folder

Has anyone had any luck linking their cloud folders to eclipse. I like to store all my stuff on Google Drive. When I try to load the source file it doesn't recognize the Google Drive folder. Thanks

I guess it's not really linking...Just doesn't recognize the Google drive folder when I look for the source code if I put it int there

@Outbreak, Alright I understand. Yeah I tried linking a source code to dropbox and couldn't get it to work either. LA

I have everything I use for buzztouch in DropBox, and have never had an issue. I run all my code off DropBox, and even use that as my workspace! If Eclipse can see it as a folder, it should be able to use it. Mark

Yeah. It doesn't see it for some reason.

@GoNorthWest, Let's say I want to put my config. file in dropbox, do I put that link in BT control panel for config data? LA

If you want to put your config file in DropBox, it needs to go into the Public folder. Then you grab the URL for that file, and configure the BT control panel to look for it there. Anything you want accessible from your app should go into the Public folder. Mark

It looks like you'd somehow have to mount a remote directory in order to use eclipse in that fashion. If you could work out a way for Google Drive to have a drive letter, or volume name, it might work. Hmmm. Cheers! -- Smug

Wow... I like that idea of running it off of Dropbox or any virtual drive. Cool beans.. never crossed my mind. Thanks Outbreak and GoNorthWest!

Yep...I do it so I can access my code from multiple locations, and from multiple computers. Works like an absolutely charm, plus it's all backed up to the cloud!

So I found out when I switched over to a Mac it had no problems seeing Google Drive...kinda nice.
