Menu Button Images Not Showing Up

I have created a button menu and left the size at 60 which I assume is 60x60. I have a 60x60 png that I am trying to use and it will not show up in the menu. All that appears is the Button Label. I have tried everything I can think up and have searched the forums to no avail. this is the only issue i have run into so far.

It might be a few things, but let's approach it step by step. 1) did you include the image in your iOS/Android project? If you did not, that's why; you upload images/documents into your control panel, but they actually don't get included with your downloaded source code. You still have to add them manually. Usually in BT_images, BT_Docs, or whatever is appropriate. 2) sized for one device; not the other. There are actually 3 places to put images for the buttons. The 'icon' that is used more or less as the 'top' layer, and then there is a 'large' and 'small' image for use on large/small devices. Did you specify those? 3) Incorrect path to image 4) Corrupt image. Unlikely, but possible. Run through these and double check your settings. If it still doesn't work pop back on and let us know what steps you took, and we'll go from there. Cheers! -- Smug

Did you add them into Xcode and 'THEN' recompile/test?

Never mind. after two days of trying to figure it out and then posting, I found my own obvious mistake. It was the opacity setting. however I had to play with it because the 1.0 made is halfway opaque still.

Are you referring to the icons on the tab layout across the bottom of the screen, or the main icons in a button menu? As Smug mentioned, check your actual directory to make sure it copied the files there when you dragged them over. I've been caught there :)

One small thing to know about these forums; if you 'reload' the page rather than exit/re-enter, it reposts your entry whether you want it to or not. Kinda goofy behavior, but it is what it is. Cheers! -- Smug

@SmugWimp I noticed they kept repeating and I was confused. Thanks for the direction and the responses. @Fingers Crossed thanks for your reply.

I have the same problem, my images are not showing up and I am using eclipse. But when I download the source file, I see Bt_Docs,BT_Video but I don't see an images folder or BT_Images. Should I create a BT_Images folder? Been working on this for 4 days now.

@mobileappmogul I know little about the eclipse download as I haven't really gotten into the android stuff yet, however I would say yes create the folder and then ensure that is appears in eclipse. Once it is there copy your images to that folder. That SHOULD fix the problem I believe unless there is something about the eclipse project I do not know.

the images that you upload into your BT Control panel will NOT be included in a project; they must be added manually. (you can download all images in a zip file, but they're not included by default) If it doesn't have a BT_images folder, you can create one; they're only used for organization. Cheers! -- Smug
