Problems building a project for archive

themanwho66 Apple Fan Posts: 27 Reg: Jan 13, 2013 Edmonton 2,370	confirm \| cancel 01/25/13 05:16 PM (12 years ago) Problems building a project for archive I am ready to submit my app to the app store and have gone through all the procedures in terms of obtaining certificates etc. The problem I am having is in regard to archiving my app project. When I try and run the app on my iPhone I get the following error message: Check dependencies Code Sign error: A valid provisioning profile matching the application's Identifier 'com.asquaredcommunications.asquared' could not be found It runs perfectly well on all simulators but I can't get it to run on my iPhone, so I am also unable to archive the app for submission. Also, when I go to add my device to the portal I get this error message: No value was provided for the parameter 'appIdName'. My iPhone is available as a device to test on but I can't get the app to run on it. Hope someone has some advice. Thanks! SmugWimp Smugger than thou... Posts: 6316 Reg: Nov 07, 2012 Tamuning, GU 81,410	01/25/13 06:18 PM (12 years ago) And make sure your 'bundle' ID matches the provisioning cert. Did you get BOTH a developer and a Release certificate for the provisioned app? You won't need that for testing, but you will when release time comes around. I am spending way too much time on something that should only take me 30mins tops. I have been over the steps several times including recreating all my provisioning certificates for development and distribution. I attempt to archive and get the following error messages: Check dependencies Warning: The Copy Bundle Resources build phase contains this target's Info.plist file 'BT_Config/BT_info.plist'. Code Sign error: A valid provisioning profile matching the application's Identifier 'com.asquaredcommunications.asquared' could not be found Comments OK, I'm getting extremely frustrated now.
