R Cannot be Resolved to a Variable

I have a blank, newly compiled Android App from my Self Hosted Panel. I'm using Google API 2.2 and believe everything is setup correctly. However, the BuzzTouch Android Project is showing 584 errors. Everyone of them says "R Cannot be Resolved to a Variable" This is causing me a huge headache, and I have no idea how to resolve this issue. Any help would be great, as this is really getting on my nerves. Thank you

Hi Jenny, Development can be a pain sometimes for sure! Have you tried to do a Project > Clean yet? Also...you say you have a blank app...does that mean you have no screens configured at all? I would suggest having at least one screen configured, and have it attached as your home screen. Mark

Thanks for your input GoNorthWest. I have traced the problem back to Menu List Advanced, a plugin I downloaded from BuzzTouchMods. It seems to work fine in iOS - but is very buggy in Android (or just doesn't work at all.) Does anybody happen to have a solution to how I can compile Android Apps in my BuzzTouch panel without the Menu List Advanced Plugin? Thank you

Ah, indeed! The Menu List Advanced is actually only supported for iOS, and there's a small statement about that on the page. So, it won't work for Android at all. But, you're in luck! Susan Metoxen has a Menu with Image plugin that works for both iOS and Android. Totally worth the few bucks, and it works like a charm! Mark

I use Susan's menus; I can attest to a great product. Not expensive, covers iOS/Android. Truly 'Plug In, Config, Launch'. Cheers! -- Smug

Definitely Susans plugin. If you have an existing iOS app using the Advance Menu Plugin and want it work with Android. Just purchase Susans and do a find replace to change the item type in your json and of course adjust the images and header to your liking. From : "itemType":"BT_screen_menuListSimpleAdvanced" To: "itemType":"Menu_with_image" I've done it and works great.
