Confused about coding

Hi Buzztouch members, So I am going through the buzztouch U tutorial videos and everything was going good for me, up until I hit the dreaded video about setting up code. I got completely confused and lost. Now my question to you members is, can you get around setting up code or do you have to do it? Thanks for the help and let's keep the app making going! Buzztouch will do a lot, but it won't do everything. Eventually you're going to have to load an Environment, either Xcode (Apple) or Eclipse (Android). Don't fret; things are pretty well explained. You're not the first novice to walk through the door! :) If you have a Macintosh, I'll suggest Xcode first; there isn't a lot of configuration needed. For Eclipse, there are a few critical steps, but if you follow the documents to the letter, you'll be fine. And don't hesitate to pop on the forum and ask questions! But gather a few first, and make one post with a few questions, not 20 individual posts asking one question each ;) Cheers! -- Smug

Hi @manbearpig, First welcome to Buzztouch! Second thank GOD for Buzztouch! Buzztouch does a lot of the coding for you when you build your Apps. Just go through all the tutorials @ the learning path and the how to documents and you should be fine! Can't wait to see your first App! LA

Welcome aboard @manbearpig. My only advice is try not to worry yourself too much about the coding side. You will get used to adding parts of code required for projects. It just seems a little out of reach as you have never done it before. I was the exact same when i first joined. Look forward to seeing your apps and you are good hands as this forum is superb so just shout out when you get stuck. All the best
