I got a tutorial using vmware instead and mac os lion now waiting for the 4gb download to finish

^ that Virtual Mac is a great idea but until I see some actual screen shots of someone loading an app on a real device thru a Virtual Mac....?

And for what it's worth, know that not using an Apple branded device to run Xcode is against the Xcode Terms of Service. That may or may not mean anything, but you should at least be aware.

I started out with a hackintosh to learn then bought a mac mini when app was ready for market, its a great way to learn without the commitment.
