Have any of you guys bought any software that monitors and does more then itunes connect can do? Well i just ran across app viz 2(link below) and thought it was pretty cool. Im still on a 30 day free trial before i buy it. yes it works great. i use it and love it. i like app nannie also but my favorite is checking the daily rankings, breaks down the sales per app and which countries downloaded/purchased and setting events. check out the trial - you'll like it.

So is this an 'app' or some kind of subscription? Is it a one time payment? Anything similar for Google Play? Cheers! -- Smug

Seems like a great resource. Same question as @SmugWimp though. Subscription or 1 time payment. Aloha, ~Innovateam

It seems to be a one time payment, but I'm not sure.

I use app annie right now. The reason it is free is because they compile all the data from 200K apps for marketing/demographic reports to bigger clients. This is fine by me. Apparently an API for more data is coming soon. Personally I won't pay for basic analytics. Ryan

Used app viz for a couple of years. Absolutely brilliant tool which is pretty regularly updated. I would be lost without it and think it a must have. I want to keep a check on my daily earnings and don't have the time or inclination to do it manually from itc so, yes, a must have!

I've been using App Annie for a few months and I like it. I also keep an Excel sheet as a backup with week-by-week downloads and then I just have a formula in one block that has total downloads. Obviously, it's much easier to use App Annie but I just keep an Excel sheet for backup and update the week-by-week downloads every month or so.
