Hi I recently upgraded to self hosting and have starting building my first app, downloaded the source code, launched in Xcode and everything was going smoothly, until I launched the simulator. When the simulator is launched, the app buttons do not work or respond. I have tried downloading the source code again, but still having the same issue. I am also getting an error in regards to the carousel plugin, so I'm not sure if this is the course of my problem. I'm not a hard coder so I'm pretty much stuck. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction as currently I am unable to build any apps in my self hosted control panel that work.

Hmm... So it compiles? Hmmm.... Look in your summary; make sure your deployment target is suitable for the simulator you're using... Otherwise, I'd snoop around the config and make sure the settings are correct... throw the config file into Jsonlint and make sure no illegal characters are sneaking in... Thanks for the reply Smug. Everything you have said has just gone over my head. My deployment target is 4.3 and I'm using 6.0 simulator. I never had this issue using the BT control panel, all this has started when using self hosting. When you say check the config and make sure the settings are correct, not sure what you mean. And throw the config file into Jsonlint?

I have tested the Json data in Jsonlint and its all fine. Just cannot work it out, the app won't update, buttons won't respond. As I keep getting an error with the new carousel plugin, I will attempt to remove from the project to see what happens. Other than that I am lost.

Ok, narrowed down the issue, I removed the carousel plugin from the project and everything started working. So thats my issue. I really want to use the carousel plugin, so I will post a message to Kittsy about my problem. Thanks for your help Smug.
