I try run the app but error

every time i run the app i always get this error even deleting the .meta and even changing everything to google. 2.2 rev 8 here is the error i got [2013-01-17 17:02:39 - Emulator] Failed to allocate memory: 8 [2013-01-17 17:02:39 - Emulator] [2013-01-17 17:02:39 - Emulator] This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. [2013-01-17 17:02:39 - Emulator] Please contact the application's support team for more information. I hope someone can help me as im a newbie! thankyou

I don't know much about eclipse but have you tried adding memory in your emulator. I know there is a spot to do this in the emulator setup. Check out the how to by gonorthwest. Good luck Dave

How much ram have you allocated to the emulator? If it's a lot, try using less - like 512 Also have you allocated just a number? If you have, try a number+MB - eg 512MB

yes, it launches but it has a android loading text with _ flashing next to it for a long time till even now...help me pleease

finally got onto the andoird logo loading screen, now loading forever...

It sometimes takes a very long time, it's a pain. Do you have an android phone? You can plug in a phone with usb cable and use it as an emulator, it'll load up an app very quickly and you won't get the problems you're having.

thanks, i will try that later, i got another question. wehn i press run as android application it doesn't ask for what device you want to use to test your app it just goes straight into a random/default device. do yuo know how to turn this off? thanks for your answers :)
