Accepting iOS Plugin Ideas

So it looks like people are wanting some new plugins, but nobody has mentioned what they are looking for, so submit your requests here. I only do iOS at the moment, sorry android users. Also, if anyone is comfortable incorporating third party API's (yahoo in this case), please contact me and we'll work something out on a fairly simple plugin that I have in mind. (Attn Mr David?)

Hi Ninja Have you looked at the Parse push notification as the SDK is now open source. This would make a good plugin, making this a possible good plugin to develop. Also a new audio player that allows playlist to be added would also be nice. Would also be nice to have a proper event listings plugin, to promote events. This has been long over due. Finally, a simple but nicer chat board would be nice. If you want a hand in some simple designs for the player and chat board, let me know. Good luck!

Hi Ninja, Good idea to ask for ideas :-) Are you also interested in ideas of 'plugin enhancers'? I mean... plugins that could open new features for existing plugins? I have some ideas in mind... One is rather for Smug, as it's closely related to his MapKit: a plugin that would allow a user to create on-the-fly a JSON file intended to be used by the MapKit. A user could then define some POIs by himself and keep them for subsequent use (location of his hotel, his car, his favorite restaurant, and so on). Two more ideas come to mind... As some plugins rely on JSON files that can be embedded in the app (and therefore used when you're not connected), a plugin that would give the ability to download such a file in the app could be quite useful. (I use a lot Smug's Mapkit to create tourist apps with maps that don't require a connection, and of course I need to resubmit the app everytime I make new POIs...) Last idea at the moment is a plugin that would work with the JSON Snippet Keeper to give the ability to embed these snippets as a JSON file in the app (and not in the config). When you use the Snippet Keeper extensively, with many many lines of code, the config file gets heavy and any update is slow, so embedding heavy snippets in the app would be quite user-friendly! Hope these ideas may interest you! And if these ideas are not clear enough, send me a PM any time! Cheers Jack

I like @FunkyMonkey's idea of an iOS loyalty card plugin like the existing Android plugin.
