Been away for a bit with work (great job but not apps) and came back to see the new membership system, for a long time I have felt that I have derived far more from buzztouch and its forum members and not been able to give back, apart from the odd witticism that seems only to appeal to Scandinavian member's (don't ask me why?) Now I can make some tokenism of thanks by joining, and urge anyone else that's made an app to do the same. I know the only other way I could make an app is by holding Northbynorthwest as coding hostage and threatening him with my version of danny boy MTV style unplugged or reciting my school boy poems that I composed to Teresa Tanner (god bless her cold shoulders)

Good to be back, magic man and hacerapps. I love the Saint Louis Chips Vibe Magic Man, I was thinking of you yesterday, I was watching this amazing documentary on America and the drug laws, called 'the house I live in ' (I think) and one of the interviewers was from a police department down south and had really perspective on the problems of different types of sentencing and its effect on cyclical crime. He spoke in a manner of authority that was both considered and with gravity, I always imagine that voice from you when I see the supportive posts you put up when I am struggling with an app. It squeezes an extra few hours of determination out of me.

Hope the new gig is going well and love that member badge under your name, suits you sir, suits you. I think your post sums up the sentiment of many on here about being able to give something back for all the great code we have been given. Live/design mode. I will contact you on these events, I think it is a fantastic way to meet up with a great community and at least pretend for a few minutes that I am a member of the app glitteratti,nodiing at comments about cocoa(and thinking they are talking about coffee beans), and discussing my first app that have a lower download rate than the polar bear appreciation society of Sarah Palin.
