Make sure your avd is set to 2.2 google api

how to do that?

Make a new avd. In the settings you should be able to set this.

Your eclipse does not have google api level 8 installed in it. You need to install the google api level 8 in order to run bt apps from your pc. The other option is to run the app on your android device. Open eclipse and then click windows---> android sdk manager--->android api 2.2 level 8. Now tick the check boxes and select sdk platform and google apis. Then select install packages and click other options which will be prompted while you start to download and installing it.

Hi @varijkapil13, yes it'll run on the latest devices running API level 17 (ICS+). Level 8 is the Minimum level it will run at - level 8 = Android OS 2.2

i downloaded the google api 2.2 for eclipse. and chose it from the menu. but now my app showing a new error, it states as:- [2013-01-17 17:20:43 - BT_activity_root] Android requires compiler compliance level 5.0 or 6.0. Found '1.7' instead. Please use Android Tools > Fix Project Properties.
