Mach-O Linker Error - Possibly Aurasma

Hi folks, I've been digging for ages trying to resolve this one! App runs fine in the simulator, but won't compile to a device. From my mate google, it appears to be a framework error, but I can't seem to figure out what's missing. I've removed/re-added all of them. I redownloaded the Aurasmakit, and re-added that too. I still get the same error though :S Here's the list that show the frameworks added... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/25547044/TDM_SS2/Frameworks.png Here's the error code verbatim... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/25547044/TDM_SS2/LinkerError.png Does anyone have any suggestions? It's driving me nuts :P (Deployment Target is 4.3)

Hey Mr. Fingers!!! You need to remove support for armv7s. Try searching how to do that. I'm on the road right now... When I get home I'll be able to provide extra help. Oh, and keep your fingers crossed!!!

What version of xcode are you using.

I've removed armv7s from the "Build Settings" , "valid architectures" field AND changed "build active architecture only" to NO. That being said, I did that this morning and the app is on my device and testing right now. Then, I reloaded an app from a few days ago and implemented aurasma on it this afternoon and I'm now getting 2 linker errors. https://www.dropbox.com/s/y588l2y008qkxqt/linker%20warning%20JAN%2015.tiff @Kittsy: I created my app this morning with the Buzz Carousel plugin. Very nice. Ryan

another puzzler have you followed the instructions. I have just made an app with buzzcarousel and aurasma and it compiles fine. Have you added all of the frameworks. Did add only the aurasmakit from the kernel. added -ObjC -all_load to other linker flags removed the reachability statement

yup yup yup. Checked everything again. I'm your Aurasma boy. The app this morning works fine and uses Carousel. The one this afternoon uses the standard menu and I'm getting the errors. I'm going to completely redo the app right now since it is fairly simple. Do you have any insight on the "'start' referenced from" error from my dropbox shot above? Thanks, Ryan

I too did follow the instructions (except maybe the reachability bit?? since I don't recall seeing it) I'll hook back up later and see if another app with the plugin still compiles to device.

OK, FWIW, the other app I have in the app store failed to compile when I just loaded and ran it on the device (iPhone 5). Same error. (I'm on XCode 4.5 running on 6.0 SDK)

OK, I have been able to get it to compile, although I have no idea of the ramifications from the changes I made :) Under build settings, I changed the valid architectures from 'armv7 armv7s' to 'armv7' I also had to change 'Build Active Architecture Only' from Yes to No After this, I get 4 warnings about absolute addressing, but it does compile and run on the device.

yeah that's fine, there currently isn't anything that uses the armv7s in buzztouch, I'm going to check your package now, because when I compile my apps that doesn't happen.

Hi guys, Did you resolve this? I'm getting a similar error. Screen shot: http://i.imgur.com/bC46Z.png Just a warning, and I'm able to compile and run on my 3GS, but I thought I'd mention it. I just got it, so I haven't tried any fixes yet. Thanks, William

@William, Short answer: Kittsy's system compiles it without error. Once I added the above, it compiles with the warnings you showed. Good enough for me unless someone tells me it's wrong :) I'll try clearing the cache(s) once I hear back on something. Cheers.

Are your build settings similar to this? "Under build settings, I changed the valid architectures from 'armv7 armv7s' to 'armv7' I also had to change 'Build Active Architecture Only' from Yes to No "
