Using Email to Send Parse Push Notifications

I just saw this come across Twitter from the Parse Blog here: http://blog.parse.com/2013/01/15/register-for-the-webcast-using-email-to-send-push-notifications-with-parse-and-mailgun/ From the post: "Following our partnership with Mailgun to launch the Mailgun Cloud Module, we’re proud to announce a joint webcast scheduled for January 30th, 2013 at 10:30 AM PST. In this webcast, participants will learn how to use email to send push notifications using Parse and Mailgun."

You know Push is around the corner right on here, yeah? Right in your good old control panel.

Yes, I'm anxiously awaiting that! I anticipate that making life much easier for us all. I've have already added Parse to the app I have Waiting for Review, so this does interest me. Parse also seems to be talked about quite often here, so I thought I'd share! William

Parse is cool, no doubt. Use it all the time. Like you said, getting Push in here is a HUGE game changer.

I had an app waiting for review because I added push (using parse). When I saw that Buzztouch was coming out with push and that I didn't have to wait that long I pulled it from review. In my opinion, one control panel, one web site etc is better than going all over the place to send push notifications. And besides, it's a no brainier.......Buzztouch push will integrate seamlessly with a Buzztouch app! Dave

^ thanks for the link. Definately will check that out, sounds interesting. registered myself. mailgun looks like it's .10 per thousand messages - so i wonder how this will work with the Parse 'free' package. Super excited about BT PN- but Parse is WAY more than just PN. I'm using their login/sign-up views in a current project and have been playing around with the pfquery class a bit. great stuff and awesome documentation and even decent support for a free user.
