Canvas Integration

Hey folks, been a while since i've been here, been (attempting to)learning HTML5 and the like. My question is.. I'm hoping to publish an app, initially to the Android Play Store (cheaper) Which will rely heavily on a msPaint style screen (particularly being able to draw on a background image with different colours and maybe adding specific clip art from a selection.) I really like the buzztouch methodology with apps, and want to build it here if i can, but cant figure out how! I noticed a paint plugin for iOS in the plugin market, does anyone know of a similar one for Android? Or a different method to achieve my goals! Any help would be very much appreciated, I have 5 half-finished apps in my bt portfolio, could do with finishing one of them soon :) Cheers, Aaron

With respect to 'Plugin' for android, not at the moment. But who knows what will surface tomorrow? In the mean time, if you're willing to experiment a little, there is always this: http://som-itsolutions.blogspot.com/2010/12/freeware-android-paint.html Cheers! -- Smug

Nice find @Smug! In the comments of that post is a more up to date version that can use a background image: http://jmsliu.com/199/android-canvas-example.html
