If you're on windows, do a Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open the task manager, select the processes tab, end the adb.exe process and try again. If that doesn't work try a pc reboot.

Not sure if this will work or not, but worth a try. Go to the "run" menu and select "run configurations". Click on the "Target" tab and select "Always prompt to pick device". If you have a running virtual device, select it next time you run the app. Otherwise, launch a new one from the dialog.

Hi, Do you actually have an Emulator defined in the AVD Manager? Or, an actual Android device attached to your PC at the same time you're running Eclipse? Mark

well, i decided to delete all my screens and start from scratch, added only two screens, didn't change anything basically, only inserted a picture to fit the default button size (60 X 60)wich i then copied to the folder on eclipse of course, also inserted a logo picture and that is it, didn't change any other setting other than that and i am still getting the same error on the emulator! i guess the problem is somewere within eclipse then, what should i do to try and fix this? Thanks David
